For the Bolle glasses it reads "Bolle Contour Safety Glasses feature high contour (8 base)". What does 8 base mean?

8 base means the degree of curvature in the lens. In other words the Bolle Contour lenses have 8 degrees of lens curvature, which is typical for safety eyewear.
