edge brazeau

Jake Jan 09, 2012 10:43PM EST

I recently purchased a pair of Edge brazeau copper lense glasses. There seems to be some distortion on inside edges of the lenses, along the nose piece/bridge. I haven't noticed this on any of the other Edge glasses (haven't had problems with the lenses in kazbek polarized, reclus, dakura, baretti). Is this just part of the brazeau style or do I have a defective pair? I really like the frames, I think they are built well and probably the safest style Edge has made yet. Hopefully all of brazeau lenses aren't as confusing as the pair that I have.

Hello Jake,
Several customer service representatives tried a pair of brazeau copper lens glasses to see if they can see what you are seeing. Several of us noticed nothing, others noticed an area that seems to distort as they moved their head but cleared when they stopped moving. The only way to avoid all distortion is to have flat glasses, glasses that have a curve to them will pick up light at different angles. Ususally the wearer adjusts to this and will not even notice it. Some people do not adjust. If you purchased your glasses from us, you are welcome to return them or exchange them. Hope this helped!

Jake,

Upon further research, Edge became aware of this problem that seemed to occur with one batch during production, and has since recalled the defective glasses. You are one who received a defective pair. Please let us know if you still need those replaced.
